ARMSTRONG ESTATES

The distinguished Armstrong Estates development is located on the historic eastside of Sonoma just blocks from Sonoma’s historic central plaza. Steve Ledson, a long-time resident of Sonoma with roots dating back to the 1800, purchased the famous 35-acre Armstrong property in 1986.  Steve developed the land into 53 lots and restored the Armstrong mansion. During the restoration, he found a time capsule buried under the old home offering original glass slides of the home.

The Armstrong mansion is now on the Historic registry known as Orange Lawn. This beautiful Victorian mansion was originally built by Daniel Young, the owner of the local hardware store in 1870.  When you drive through this neighborhood, you’ll see that the architectural styles are of a historic nature and style that is still so popular after hundreds of years. Each home, designed and built by Steve Ledson, offers a quaint setting in a classic era reflecting the character of the old town of Sonoma and so many other historic towns in America. Utilizing the feel of the architecture found throughout Sonoma, Steve designed and built a stunning array of architecturally different homes Each home is set back from the street as well as one another. By capitalizing on these techniques, Steve created an extraordinary, peaceful, and private neighborhood with picturesque open spaces and visually charming estate homes. Armstrong Estates is a fitting tribute to the historic town of Sonoma, one the citizens of Sonoma Valley can be proud of for years to come.

BOCCOLI

Boccoli Place is a private street located off of West MacArthur Street, just a few short blocks from the historic Sonoma Plaza.  This planned community development consists of 26 Ledson built, single family homes; 10 of which are owned and maintained by Steve Ledson.  In the project, each 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath, two-story home comes with an attached garage, lush backyard area and private balconies.
